Voting In Victoria

Election Day: Saturday, October 17, 2026

Here’s what you need to know in order to vote in the upcoming Victoria municipal election.

You will receive a postcard with election information to your home on the week of September 14th. Election day is Saturday October 17th, 2026.

On election day, you can vote at any one of the 12 voting places across the city of Victoria! Exact locations will be confirmed by September 7th.

The following locations are open 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Central Middle School: 1280 Fort St.

Crystal Garden: 713 Douglas St.

George Jay Elementary School: 1118 Princess Ave.

Glenlyon Norfolk Senior School: 781 Richmond Ave.

James Bay Community School: 140 Oswego St.

Oaklands Elementary School: 2827 Belmont Ave.

Quadra Elementary School: 3031 Quadra Ave.

Quadra Village Community Centre: 901 Kings Rd.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 292: 411 Gorge Rd. E.

Sir James Douglas Elementary School: 401 Moss St.

Victoria High School: 1260 Grant St.

Victoria West Elementary School: 750 Front St.

October 7th, 13th, 14th and 15th

Victoria Conference Centre: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

October 14th

University of Victoria: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Victoria City Hall

Ballots can be picked up after September 17.

Before You Vote!

What To Bring With You On Election Day

Bring your government-issued photo ID that shows your full-name and Victoria address. A BC services card or drivers license would work!

Make Sure You’re Eligible To Vote

You must be a Canadian citizen, a resident of British Columbia for at least six months, 18+ years old, and a resident of the city of Victoria.
